All I must say, One Skillet Dish! Yeah barley any dishes! When we are in a pinch of time between swim, baseball, soccer, and band lessons this is a fast one to make.

- Cook Time:
- Servings: 6
Ingredients
- (1 cup) Chopped Onions
- (2 Cloves) Fresh Garlic
- (1 Tablespoon) Lard
- (1 pound) Ground Beef
- (1 can 14.5 oz) Diced Tomatoes
- (2 Cups) Rotini Noodles
- (2 Tablespoons) Italian Seasoning
- (1 teaspoon) Salt and Pepper
- (2 Cups) Chicken Broth
- (1/2 Cup) Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Directions
In a large skillet over medium heat sauté lard onions and garlic until onions are transparent (about 8 minutes). Add ground beef and cook until there is no pink and meat is crumbled.
Add broth, tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper and bring to a boil.
Stir in uncooked pasta cover and simmer for 12 minutes until pasta is cooked and most of liquid is gone.
Turn off heat and mix in mozzarella cheese, let it sit until cheese is all melted.
Serve with a little sprinkle of mozzarella cheese on-top and my family loves bread with it.
